David Knight talks to Robert George of Brillouin Energy Corp, about LENR – Low Energy Nuclear Reaction technology that the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) has said “could revolutionize energy production and storage…[and] produce the greatest transformation of the battlefield for US forces since the transition from horsepower to gasoline power.”

Most of the comments on this video are misinformed, but Brillouin Energy, funded solely through angel investors and licensing deals, continues to be one of the most fascinating technology firms working to commercialize LENR.

On November 2nd, 2015 Brillouin Energy Corporation held a public demonstration of L.E.N.R. in Washington D.C. to discuss the Brillouin boiler and its commercial development. In the fall of 2014 Standing Rock Sioux Tribe endorsed Cold Fusion and has gone on record to seek funding from the Department of Energy for the deployment of clean energy and energy efficient projects. Currently funding has also been requested from the Department of Agriculture as well as funding to contract scientists for the education and planning of this technology. On September 2, 2015 the Standing Rock Tribal Council approved the Charter for the Hunkpapa Development Corporation. Furthermore, Standing Rock Sioux Tribe endorsed the Vision 2030 decree with a priority on sustainable housing and L.E.N.R.

Additionally, The Tribe recently approved action to seek private funding as well as Federal and has proposed the commercialization of L.E.N.R. Education for schools K through 12. It shall be called Wi Waci -Sun Dance.

The second project will be a research and design low cost home with emphasis on a dome design and construction conducive to the components of the technology process. The project will be called Thi Yuktan. This housing plan has been approved for the use of the generator and the Standing Rock Water Control Board has approved a permit for the Brillouin boiler.

Technology has exceeded balance. It has created a toxic environment that is more harmful and damaging to human life. A human life is threatened after three to five days without water. Native People are keepers of Mother Earth. There is a limitless clean energy that we have a duty to create and develop and use for the people.

Carl Page: LENR Works

Carl Page, brother of Larry Page (Google co-founder) and an entrepreneur in his own right, recently expounded his thoughts on LENR.

It is strange that LENR is neglected by the DOE, industry and the Pentagon. But no stranger than the history of nuclear power—if it weren’t for the leadership Admiral Rickover, and his personal friends in Congress, nuclear fission power for submarines and power plants would never have seen the light of day. The best endowed institutions rarely disrupt the status-quo.

Brillouin Energy Independent Report Validates Technology

BERKELEY, CA, December 1, 2015 – Brillouin Energy Corp., developer of renewable energy technologies capable of producing commercially useful amounts of thermal energy (heat) based on controlled low energy nuclear reactions (“LENR”), announced today that its Hydrogen Hot Tube (HHT) Boiler System reactor core modules, were the subject of a recently completed independent Technical Validation Report.

The 35-page Report was prepared as technical due diligence by Michael Halem, a third party technical investigator. The Technical Validation Report summarizes the investigation into Brillouin Energy’s HHT single tube core prototypes at Brillouin’s Berkeley laboratory and at its research partner SRI International. The results are drawn from a series of calibrated tests of both systems. Mr. Halem personally designed tests on the HHT systems and then directed the technical staff of Brillouin Energy and SRI to execute the test plans. The tests, in which 95 channels of data were recorded and then investigated, included multiple technical changes to validate the thermodynamic results.

In all cases, the results were consistent: the data demonstrate with very high confidence that the Brillouin Energy HHT prototype repeatedly produced lab-scale excess heat from LENR.

“I was given full access to the experiments,” said Mr. Halem. “I was able to confirm, with a high degree of confidence, excess energy output above chemical and likely due to a nuclear reaction.” The Technical Validation Report affirms that Brillouin Energy’s HHT technology “is scalable by assembling multiple HHT tubes” in a reactor system. The Report was peer reviewed by Mr. Halem’s technical colleague, Dr. Antoine Guillemin who holds his Masters in Nuclear Physics and Ph.D. in Building Physics. Brillouin Energy Presents on Capitol Hill


Brillouin Energy Corp. presented its groundbreaking thermal energy technology on Capitol Hill last week. Attendees included Members of Congress, congressional aides, federal government officials, industry representatives, and citizens’ groups concerned with the federal government’s progress on developing clean energy solutions.

“It was great to see that much interest in DC for a true safe green nuclear power technology,” commented Brillouin’s President and Chief Technology Officer, Robert Godes.

Attendees were able to learn about Brillouin’s prototype LENR reactors and hear from a number of speakers, including Dr. Michael McKubre of Stanford Research International (SRI). Brillouin and SRI have entered into a technology research agreement under which SRI is engaged in calibration testing and independent analysis of the Brillouin technology.

As Dr. McKubre noted in a report distributed at the event, “it is very clear that something on the order of four times (4x) and potentially more gain in power (and therefore ultimately energy) was achieved at an impressive and industrially significant operating temperature of around 640°C. To my knowledge this had not been achieved before in the LENR field. The fact that the Q pulse input is capable of triggering the excess power on and off is also highly significant.”

In addition, Dr. Banning Garrett, former Strategic Foresight Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council, was also present and issued a report detailing the current status of the LENR field and credibility of Brillouin’s claims. As Dr. Garrett noted, “LENR power generation, if realized, has the potential to become one of the technologies for transformation of the global energy system.”

Brillouin’s breakthrough technology is now garnering national and international attention and the company looks forward to working with government and industry leaders to bring this technology to market.

Infinite Energy: Brillouin Energy

Infinite Energy has posted a nice article on Brillouin Energy and its founder Robert Godes.  Brillouin consistently demonstrates with its ongoing collaboration with SRI to be a leader in the LENR field and the pursuit of commercialization of their technology.

Fran Tanzella from SRI declares that SRI has interacted with Robert and the Brillouin team over the past three years and have come to believe that the early high-pressure “Wet Boiler” results were reproducible, controllable and significant. “I personally presented that work at ICCF17 because I believe it is real and important,” Tanzella says.

A Paradigm $hift

Oil prices have been in a free fall for the past year.  In just the past month, prices have collapsed more than 20%.  We may be witnessing the first step in a shift of the paradigm of cyclical oil markets and a softening of our future dependency on fossil fuels.  The volatility in oil prices is not over, but our current low prices and the general expectation of continued low prices, means there is less market resistance against embracing the inevitable.  There will be huge restrictions and carbon taxes levied against the petroleum industry in the near future.  Climate change or not, technology and alternative energy sources are becoming more attractive to the market.  Governments all over the globe are embracing the vision of a carbon-free world where we aren’t dependent upon the oil cartels and unexpected price swings.  I think some of this sentiment is starting to be priced into the oil markets and revised expectations on future demands and profits are materializing.

The door is wide open for LENR to completely destroy this paradigm.  As investors, scientists and world leaders catch wind of LENR and start to look for ways to materialize a carbon-free world, LENR will gain the attention it deserves.  LENR has been categorically ignored for over 25 years, but there is too much revolutionary potential in it to ignore it forever.  Companies like Brillouin Energy, Industrial Heat LLC, LENUCO and countless other experimenters will have a head start in understanding what many readers here already know about LENR.

The motivation to push LENR over the edge will be profits.  Oil’s free fall will erase over $4 trillion dollars in revenue over the coming years.  Now imagine dissatisfied investors learn of a new technology that could potentially fulfill all of our energy needs.  It’s ironic that the pursuit of wealth may unlock one of the most selfless gifts to the world, but Bill Gates himself recently compared the search for renewable technologies with the early days of the technology industry and predicted that some investors will make a lot of money.  Money is the way of the world and even if you can’t help invest, you can be proud that you were the first person in your group to recognize LENR and you can now simply sit back and enjoy the show.

Brillouin: Electron Capture Model

Andrea Rossi has recently made disparaging remarks about the Electron Capture Theory, however, Brillouin appears to consistently make strides in control, COP and commercialization efforts.


New Brillouin Energy Patent

We’ve written several articles on Brillouin Energy and its founder, Robert Godes.  Based in Berkley, California, this company continues to make great progress with very little fanfare. Robert Godes has the industry’s most credible LENR theory, Dr. McKubre of SRI has stated Brillouin is the closest organization to commercializing an LENR product, and Godes has engineered an ingenious nickel-based wet and dry boiler system that drives the underlying physics of LENR.

The Godes-Brillouin Theory is based on a controlled electron capture reaction.  Hydrogen is loaded into a nickel matrix where an electronic pulse (Q-pulse) is passed through the system, resulting in a compressed lattice within the constrained system.  Mass is created and a proton is converted to a neutron, causing a tremendous loss of energy in the system.  Godes describes this process as a “nuclear freezer.”  Protium is converted to deuterium, deuterium is converted to tritium and tritium is converted to quatrium, resulting in a net energy out as the quatrium rapidly beta decays and Helium-4 and heat is released into the system.

Key to the Brillouin system is the use of proprietary electronics and controls designed by Robert Godes, an inventive electrical engineer.  Interestingly, a patent was recently issued to Brillouin Energy Corporation and published on January 7, 2014 for a high-speed gate switching system.  Referred to as a Gate Hyperdrive system, it reportedly improves the efficiency of any conventional electronically controlled electric motor, inverter or other power conditioning equipment by about 25%.

Techniques for overcoming many of the speed limitations of switching a gated device while protecting the device from damage provide a dynamic driving voltage to the gate of the device being switched. This dynamic voltage provides a way to overcome the complex impedances between the drive point and the actual gate allowing faster switching speeds. This dynamic driving voltage is provided by starting with a fixed amount of charge at a higher initial potential. The fixed charge and voltage are chosen so as not to exceed the device’s specified maximum gate current or the device’s maximum voltage between the gate and the source (punch-through voltage).

Brillouin expects to develop a system that can return 10 watts of thermal energy for every 1 watt of input electrical energy.  If successful, this technology could be tremendously disruptive in the fossil fuels energy industry.
