The 12th International Workshop on Anomalies in Hydrogen Loaded Metals is taking place in Italy in a few days.  The following link http://iscmns.org/work12/program.htm is the provisional schedule of presentations.

The following is from a “Road Map” for Developing Engineering Applications of LENR Technologies,” by I. Goryachev, a retired scientist from the Russian research center “Kurchatov Institute” in Moscow.

The experimental results of the LENR phenomenon now urgently require that practical applications be developed. My presentation demonstrates several important technologies that can be realized in the near future. These technologies go in the following directions:

  • Generation of ecologically clean and safe heat
  • Generation of ecologically clean and safe electricity
  • Complete neutralization of nuclear waste
  • Cheap and ecologically clean desalination of seawater
  • Neutralization of toxic gases and toxic waste
  • Production of precious and rare metals by using cheap starting materials (note by LENR-supported transmutation)
  • Production of new special materials and alloys
  • Use of LENR radiation for technical and medical applications

The Powerpoint presentation will present 11 different projects:

  • A 100 kW water heater unit
  • A 5 MW generator for electricity
  • A 120 kW full generator for electricity
  • A 10 MW power station
  • A technological complex for the deactivation of radioactive waste and fillings
  • Technology for the economically effective desalination of seawater
  • Detoxification of chemical agents
  • Facilities for the production of stable isotopes
  • Reactor for the production of gold and special alloys
  • Equipment for medical applications

Industrial Heat in Aggressive Pursuit of LENR

Another exhibit from the Rossi v. Darden case offers a revealing look at Industrial Heat and their activities over the past few years. IH has been aggressively pursuing LENR technology through acquisitions, patenting, funding and “grooming” partnerships with a myriad of LENR inventors and firms.

In an email dated March 4, 2016, Woodford Funds expresses clear disappointment in the coming announcement that IH was unable to announce successful testing of Andrea Rossi’s E-Cat technology as it was a “core element” in their initial investment of a reported £39 million.

Article: Why is no one Talking About LENR Cold Fusion?

An article by William McKinney on EdgyLabs discusses the the promise of Cold Fusion and how it has been re-branded LENR. The article also discusses the role of suppression in the technology and the likelihood LENR may be commercialized before it is fully understood.

LENR does hold tremendous potential, but one must remember to temper their expectations whenever a new technology is discussed with fanfare. LENR may be long in potential, but so may the wait.

Airbus Files More LENR Patents

Airbus continues to position itself for the application of LENR technology by applying for two additional patents.  In 2015, Airbus also published a patent for LENR power generation.

The first is for: Material arrangement for fusion reactor and method for producing the same:

“A material arrangement for a fusion reactor comprising at least one material which is configured as a foam-like carrier material for condensable binding and fusing of hydrogen. The carrier material is provided with positively charged vacancies for condensing hydrogen atoms, small pores for receiving the condensate and for accelerating the condensation after previous penetration of atoms or molecules into these, and large pores for transporting a catalyst into the small pores. Furthermore, a method for producing the material arrangement is disclosed.”

The second application is for Method and Apparatus for Generating and for Fusing Ultra-dense Hydrogen:

“A method for generating and for fusing ultra-dense hydrogen in which molecular hydrogen is fed into at least one cavity and catalyzed, where the splitting and subsequent condensation of the molecular hydrogen is initiated on a catalyst of the cavity to form an ultra-dense hydrogen. The ultra-dense hydrogen is exposed to pressure or electromagnetic radiation to initiate fusion of the ultra-dense hydrogen in the at least one cavity and the reaction heat is led out from the at least one cavity. The pressure as mechanical resonance or the electromagnetic radiation as electromagnetic resonance amplifies the field and therefore the effect. Also, an apparatus for carrying out the method is disclosed.”

David Knight talks to Robert George of Brillouin Energy Corp, about LENR – Low Energy Nuclear Reaction technology that the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) has said “could revolutionize energy production and storage…[and] produce the greatest transformation of the battlefield for US forces since the transition from horsepower to gasoline power.”

Most of the comments on this video are misinformed, but Brillouin Energy, funded solely through angel investors and licensing deals, continues to be one of the most fascinating technology firms working to commercialize LENR.
